Structural equation modelling and causal inference: an online course
About myself...
I am a university professor who specializes in plant ecology and statistics, with a special emphasis on path analysis, structural equations modelling and statistical methods of causal inference. You can view my scientific publications on this web site.
I have taught an intensive (1-week) graduate-level course in path analysis and structural equations modelling for many years, both at my home university (Université de Sherbrooke) and at many other universties around the world. Thanks to Covid, I converted this course into an online course involving lectures in the form of high-quality videos plus the RStudio files used in the videos and am now offering this online version to anyone who is interested, either individually or as groups.
Types of courses offered
An intensive course in structural equation modelling and causal inference based on my book Cause and Correlation in Biology: A user's guide to path analysis, structural equations and causal inference with R. This course involves over 18 hours of lectures (including practical sessions doing the analyses in R) in the form of videos. Online courses for individuals consist of access to these videos for two months. Online courses for groups are five full days consisting of these videos plus live sessions via TEAMS or Zoom. I can also teach this course in-person as a one week intensive course at your institution.
individual online course: 160$ CAN
online course for an entire class with live interaction: 5000$ CAN
in-person course for an entire class (limit of 30 students): 5500$ CAN plus expenses
